Extraordinary Port-De-Bras with Dmitri Roudnev from Bolshoi theater ballet

The concept of Dancing for Healing is not new, and it is not mine. As I mentioned to most of you, I had the rare opportunity to experience Dmitri Roudnev's exercise program. I am so happy he was kind to accept the invitation to do a demonstration.

I am recommending these exercises because your compromised postures are haunting my dreams. These subtle but precise movements, presented in a fun way (although, they are coming from the unmatched tradition of the Classical Russian Ballet), will allow you to gain postural control, in a short time. After that, you'll never be able to slouch your back, even if you want to.

Roudnev Classical Conditioning

In 2005 Bolshoi Ballet dancer Dmitri Roudnev helped pair skaters Tomyanina and Marinin win the Winter Olympics gold medal with his ballet inspired strengthening program. Roudnev now uses this same strengthening program to help hundreds of dancers find the answers they have been looking for. These exercises, done a few minutes before breakfast, increase extension, produce beautiful lines, and develop extraordinary port de bras. Roudnev has been featured in local media including Channel 3 News for his work helping young teens with Cerebral palsy and Asperger syndrome. He has helped this teens with their balance, control and ability to walk in a smoother gait.

* Port de Bras (Fr. for upper-mid-back) is what is so, soooo in need of being reeducated and reintegrated in your postural patterns.
